Victoria Ann Cardin Woerlee

March 24, 1942- August 19, 2026

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Victoria Ann Cardin Woerlee, August 19, 2026, in Eugene, Oregon. She was born on March 24, 1942, in Alameda, California, to Richard and Marian Van Fleet. Her journey, rich with love, laughter, and perseverance, touched the lives of all who knew her.

Vicky’s professional journey was as colorful and vibrant as the flowers she loved to grow. She worked for Fender Guitar, learned to play bass guitar and played in the band Sweet ‘n Sour, and eventually opened her own flower shop, doing what she loved most. Vicky was an avid gardener. Her love for plants and nature was reflected in every colorful blossom and leaf found in her beautiful yard.

She lived a full and remarkable life. Vicky touched the hearts of everyone she met through her flower shops and her church. Her walk with the lord included playing the bass guitar in music leadership and leading several bible studies. She was always ready to lend a helping hand or share her wisdom. Vicky’s life was a testament to resilience, creativity, and love, leaving a lasting imprint in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Vicky is survived by her devoted husband James Woerlee; her younger sister Anna Mae Mortensen; her three children, Stacy Murchek, Chuck Cardin, and Cindy Kirkpatrick; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two great grandchildren; Leo and Michael.

A celebration of life will be held on Sept 10, 2026, 3:00 pm, at New Beginnings Family- Church of God 1585 N 5th Street Springfield, Oregon. There will be a potluck following the service. The family asks you to bring your favorite dish to share. Flowers can be sent to the church on the day of the service. Or in lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite cancer charity would be appreciated.

The family thanks Signature Hospice, Carolyn (Ruby Tuesday) Peacock, Signature staƯ and nurses, including Shelby, Pastor Phil, Cacee and Lisa with Addus Care, and Avamere River Park Eugene staƯ for their compassion and care.

As Vicky’s spirit now walks with God, she will forever bloom in the gardens of our memories, her laughter echoing in our hearts. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of crossing her path.
